A court appearance is scheduled Monday afternoon for a 17 year old accused of stabbing a 24 year old man in south Grand Forks.
Cazmere Haskins will appear in Northeast Central District Court on the Class AA felony murder – intentional knowing or with extreme difference – adult victim.
The stabbing occurred in a parking lot of an apartment complex along the 1700 block of 36th Avenue South during the early morning hours of March 7th.
The victim was identified as Anfernee Economy. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The AA Felony Murder charge is punishable by up to life in prison without parole.
