(KNOX) – The East Grand Forks Senior Center was on the minds of City Council members Tuesday, who moved in favor of three matters.
The council moved for an updated agreement with Lutheran Social Services for the use of the Senior Center for the development and operation of a Nutrition Program.
The council accepted a proposal from Johnson Controls to update the HVAC system at the Senior Center.
Lastly, the council adopted a resolution to reclassify the Senior Center Coordinator position and freeze the wage until the approved salary meets or exceeds the Grade 12 pay range.
East Grand Forks Mayor Steve Gander told KNOX News the council is committed to maintaining the Senior Center at a high level.
