(KNOX) -According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol a two vehicle accident Tuesday on U.S. Highway 2 east of Emerado caused one individual to be seriously hurt.
The highway patrol said that it happened around 4 p.m.
It involved a pick-up driven by a 32-year-old man from Larimore and a large truck driven by a 23-year-old woman from Emerado.
The report says that the collision happened when the larger truck was eastbound on US Highway 2 in the right lane, slowing to prepare for a right
turn.
The pick-up was eastbound on Highway 2 in the right lane. The pick-up struck the rear of the larger truck.
The driver of the pick-up was seriously hurt and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The driver of the larger truck driver was not hurt.
The accident is under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
