GFAFB reports missing teen

The Grand Forks Air Force Base says a base-wide search is ongoing for a missing 18-year-old military dependent, Hailey R. Sullivan, after she left the family campground on the base sometime between last (Mon) night and early this (Tue) morning.

The base says Hailey is 5-foot-2 with brown hair and glasses and wearing blue jeans. Hailey has an intellectual disability and responds to the nickname Hei-Hei (“hey hey”).

Military members and volunteers are conducting a grid search on the installation, and those living in base housing and dormitories are asked to check all yards, garages and rooms.

The base is asking the public to report anyone matching this description to local law enforcement — or Grand Forks Air Force Base command post at 701-747-6711.
