(KNOX) – The body of a man missing for more than two-and-a-half years was found along the banks of the Missouri River.
18-year-old Chase Hurdle went missing in November 2021. A Silver Alert was issued at the time because Hurdle had amnesia and may not have known who or where he was.
Burleigh County deputies responded to the area of the Missouri River south of Sibley Park shortly before 3 p.m. Sunday regarding a body found hung up on a tree.
Deputies were able to remove the body from the tree.
An autopsy conducted Monday was able to determine that the remains found were those of Hurdle.
His clothes and dental records were used to determine his identity.
