The Liberty Building on the state Capitol grounds in Bismarck is closed due to a water main break. The North Dakota Office of Management and Budget made the decision after the basement of the building started filling up with water on Thursday. The building houses the North Dakota State Library and Park and Rec Central Office. OMB says the pipe serving that area of the Capitol grounds is brittle due to age and was scheduled for replacement this spring. No library materials have been damaged. The closure will be in place until further notice.
